Hi,
My name is Dr. Brian Schwabe.
I know how you feel. As a former athlete I'm aware of the frustration and difficulty of losing your athleticism. I too, have wondered how I went from doing whatever I wanted to feeling stiff, slow, and weak. Well, I have good news. It's POSSIBLE to REGAIN your ATHLETICISM!
Allow me to explain...
But first, why should you listen to me?
As I said before, my name is Dr. Brian Schwabe. What I haven't told you yet is my background. I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist, and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. I've spent my entire career focusing on one goal: to help athletes be the best they can. Whether that meant putting on my strength coach hat, my rehab hat, or my injury prevention hat, I have seen every type of athlete possible. From the high school athlete, to the NBA athlete, to the UFC champion, to the Hollywood A-List Celebrity, and even the Grammy winning Musician, I can tell you each one of these "athletes" have similar needs. They want to PERFORM at the highest level.
Similar to the "athletes" I have worked with, I too had an athletic background starting in High School. Before long I found myself eating up anything related to improving speed, strength, power, or agility. That quest continued in college when I first became a strength coach. While I got in the best shape of my life, I quickly lost that when I dove head first into my career with an intense sports physical therapy residency.
Injuries plagued me for years despite the growing knowledge I was acquiring. Fortunately, through a dedicated focus, I learned how to take care of MY body. For years I was taking care of other peoples bodies but finally I had to be my own physical therapist. This required figuring out how to apply all the principles I learned treating other people to formulate into self-treatments. Over time I began compiling these training techniques, self-mobility techniques, testing sequences, and athletic qualities. Now I want to show you how to help yourself train around pain (and improve your pain), improve your mobility, learn how to structure a program around YOUR body through easy testing, and improve your athleticism so you can perform any task, sport, or aesthetic goal you may have. To help you, I've created daily "Athletic Prescriptions" (Athletic Rx) to tackle your biggest training, mobility, or pain problems.
Follow me in this journey and I'll help you break through to another level!

How do we TEST our ATHLETICISM?
WE USE SELF ASSESSMENTS!
WHAT ARE SELF ASSESSMENTS?!
Self assessments are testing tools to determine where your INDIVIDUAL deficiencies lie. Similar to tests you took in school, these tests help guide you towards your weaker areas (as well as stronger areas).
